Maharashtra NTSE 2019

The Maharashtra State Council of Examination, Pune has released the information brochure for National Talent Search Scheme. The examination is held for the students of standard 10 to identify pure talent. Students who wish to apply for the state and national level examinations can visit the official website to check the information related to the examination.
The National Talent Search Scheme examination is conducted in two levels. Stage 1 examination is the state level exam which will be conducted on November 2, 3 and 17, 2019 while the Stage 2 examination will be held on May 10, 2019. The stage 1 examination for Maharashtra will be held on November 17, 2019. Candidates can apply for the examination by contacting the state/UT liaison officer. As per the notification provided on the official website, the completed application form has to be signed by the principal of the respective schools. The last date to submit the application form will be different for the different states and union territories. NTSE 2020 Stage-1 & Stage-2 Official Schedule

The official NTSE 2020 Notification has been issued on July 17, 2019. National Talent Search Examination popularly known as NTSE is conducted by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for identifying and nurturing the talented students who want to pursue higher education in Science and Social Studies streams.
Based on student’s scores in Mental Ability Test, Scholastic Aptitude Test, and Interview, the NTSE scholarships will be distributed. Alike last year, 2000 scholarships will be awarded this year for different stages.
a) Scholarship of Rs. 1250/- per month for class XI and XII
b) Scholarship of Rs. 2000/- per month for Undergraduate and postgraduate
c) Amount of scholarship for Ph.D. is fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.
NTSE Eligibility Criteria
Students of class X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the Stage-1 exam, conducted by the States/UTs, in which the schools are located. There will be no domicile restriction. Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for the scholarship, provided the student is below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year), the student is not employed and she/he is appearing in class X examination for the first time. Those students who quality NTSE Stage 1 are eligible for NTSE Stage 2.
NTSE 2020 Exam Dates
NTSE will be conducted in two stages:
1. NTSE Stage 1 exam will be held on November 2, 3 & 17, 2019.
2. The stage 2 exam will be held on May 10, 2020.
Only those who qualify Stage 1 NTSE 2020 exam will be called for the Stage 2 exam.

Green Olympiad 2019 – Environmental Quiz Contest for School Students

About GREEN Olympiad

The GREEN Olympiad is an annual written examination on environment initiated by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in 1999. The exam is conducted by Educating Youth for Sustainable Development Division of TERI and attracts participation from lakhs of school students across India and abroad.UNESCO and DESD (Decade of Education for Sustainable Development -2004-2015) has endorsed GREEN Olympiad since 2011.It is also supported by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Army School Education Trust. CBSE, Bhavans Vidya Mandir and Hero.

Green Olympiad Levels

The Green Olympiad is open only for schools affiliated to recognized education boards and educational trusts. This year the Green Olympiad is conducted in three levels as follows.
Green Olympiad Level 1: students from classes 4 and 5
Green Olympiad Level 2: students from classes 6, 7 and 8
Green Olympiad Level 3: students from classes 9 and 10
There are separate registration forms for each level.

Students can not register directly for Green Olympiad. They can only register through their schools.
Examination centre will be the same school where the students are studying
Each school can nominate any number of students for this examination at each level.
However, participation of a minimum number of 10 students per level is mandatory.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)-2019

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the entrance gateway to the National Law Universities (NLUs) across India. The exam will be conducted by NLU, Cuttack (Odisha) this year.The online registration for CLAT 2019 is open now. The candidates who will appear in the examination can apply through the official website

On the basis of CLAT scores, candidates can also get admission into various government & private law colleges across the country.

The last date to apply online is March 31, 2019.The entrance exam for admission to bachelor’s and master’s level courses in law is scheduled to on May 12, 2019 at 5 pm.


  • There will be no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT 2019.
  • As regards minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination), the candidates must have secured:
    1. Forty five percent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCIcategories
    2. Forty Percent (40%) marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
  • Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April, 2019 are also eligible to appear in CLAT-2019 examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
  • The result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course.
  • In case of equal marks, the break of tie shall be by the following procedure and order as under:
    1. Higher marks in the component /section on legal aptitude in the CLAT-2019 exam;
    2. Higher age;
    3. Computerised draw of lots.

Important Instructions

  • The online enrollment for CLAT 2019 will open on 13th January 2019 and close on 31st March 2019.
  • The applications has to be submitted ONLINE only from website.
  • The CLAT 2019 examination will be held on Sunday, the 12th May 2019 (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
  • The CLAT 2019 examination will be held in OFFLINE mode
  • The candidates are first required to register themselves at the CLAT-2019 website by using personal mobile number and e-mail Id. Upon registration, an OTP will be sent to the given mobile number for validation. Once your mobile number is validated, you can login using your mobile number and the password you provided at the time of registration.
  • No alteration/editing in the online application form can be done after successful submission/final submission of the form.
  • The candidate shall fill his/her preference order for all 21 NLUs at the time of online application itself. No change shall be allowed in the preference once the form is submitted by the candidate.

  3. Category certificate if you are applying under SC/ST/OBC
  4. Relevant certificate issued by competent authority if you are applying if candidate is P.W.D

  6. Relevant certificate for your respective State of Domicile


  • The original certificates/documents issued by the competent authority as specified in the brochure are to be submitted to the allotted University in the form and manner as specified by the respective universities at the time of admission.
  • The photograph and signature of the candidate need not be attested while submitting the Online Application Form.
  • No hard copy of the filled in online application form is to be sent to the CLAT Consortium Office.
  • All documents/certificates should be uploaded in pdf format only.

Application Fee

  • Application fees can be paid only online.
  • Application fee for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates : Rs.4,000/-
  • Application fee for SC/ST/BPL category candidates: Rs.3,500/-
  • The cost of previous years’ question papers is Rs.500/- (not included in the CLAT-2019 application fee of Rs.4,000/- or Rs.3,500/- as the case may be.

Admit Card/Hall ticket

  • The Admit Card/Hall ticket can be downloaded by the candidate by logging into his/her account.

Admission Procedure

  • The admission to UG and PG programmes in participating universities under CLAT-2019 shall be completed through centralised online counselling conducted by the CLAT Consortium Office. The basis of allotment of seats shall be ‘merit-cum-preference’, i.e., the CLAT Rank, the order of preference given by the candidate in the CLAT application form and the category/categories selected by the candidate in the online application form and the number of seats and their division/break-up as available in each of the participating NLU. Online counselling shall start after the declaration of CLAT-2019 results.

What is NATA?

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture
